As a Lab Assistant, your day-to-day responsibilities will be crucial to our operations, encompassing a wide array of tasks designed to ensure the integrityand quality of our products. You will be responsible for the accurate collection, preparation, and labeling of various samples, including raw milk, processed dairy products, water, and other farm-related materials, ensuring they are ready for analysis. Thisrole involves performing routine quality control tests such as pH measurements, fat content analysis, protein determination, and basic microbiological screenings, strictly adhering to standard operating procedures. You will also play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and sterilization of laboratory equipment, glassware, and work surfaces, as well as assisting with the calibration and minor troubleshooting of instruments to ensure their accuracy. Meticulous record-keeping and data entry of all test results are paramount, requiring precision and attention to detail. Furthermore, you will be expected to strictly follow all safety guidelines and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), including the proper handling and disposal of chemical and biological waste.
