QA Engineer

Orange Antelopes is seeking two highly skilled and motivated QA Engineers to join our innovative team. Candidates for this role should possess a robust understanding of software development life cycles and comprehensive QA methodologies. Aproven track record in designing, developing, and executing effective test strategies is essential. We require expertise in modern testing frameworks and tools, including Jest and Cypress for robust front-end and component testing. Strong proficiency in API testing, covering both RESTand GraphQL endpoints, is critical, alongside specialized experience in testing React Native applications. Familiarity with CI/CD integration for automated testing workflows, performance testing tools like k6 and Artillery, and database knowledge, particularly PostgreSQL, will be highly valued. Experience with Docker for environment management and an interest in AI testing and evaluation are also key attributes we are looking for.

As a QA Engineer at Orange Antelopes, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve a comprehensive rangeof activities aimed at maintaining and elevating our product quality. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and executing detailed test plans and test cases across various platforms and applications. This includes performing thorough functional, regression, integration, and system testing toidentify and document defects. A significant part of your role will involve leveraging Jest and Cypress to build and maintain automated UI and component tests, ensuring our user interfaces are robust and reliable. You will also be responsible for conducting extensive API testing for bothRESTful and GraphQL services, validating data integrity and system interactions. Furthermore, you will specialize in testing our React Native applications, ensuring seamless performance and user experience across mobile platforms. Integrating automated tests into our CI/CD pipelines will be a coretask, promoting continuous quality assurance throughout the development process. You will also implement and analyze performance tests using tools such as k6 and Artillery to identify bottlenecks and ensure scalability, while working with PostgreSQL databases to validate data accuracy and integrity. Utilizing Dockerfor consistent test environment setup and contributing to the evaluation and testing of AI-driven features will also be key aspects of your contribution. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other QA team members to understand requirements, provide timely feedback, and drive continuous improvement in our testing processes and product quality.
