Store Manager

Polar Bear is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Store Manager to lead our operations in Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka, India. This is a permanent, full-time, work-from-office position where you will be instrumental in driving the success of our store. As a Store Manager, you will be at the forefront of our customer experience, responsible for the overall performance, profitability, and operational excellence of the location. This pivotal role requires an individual with 1.0 to 3.0 years of relevant experience in a retail management capacity. You will be offereda competitive annual salary ranging from INR 25,000 to 50,000, reflecting your expertise and contribution to our growth. The Store Manager will be responsible for a comprehensive range of day-to-day activitiesdesigned to ensure smooth operations and exceptional performance. You will meticulously oversee all aspects of store operations, from opening and closing procedures to maintaining visual merchandising standards that reflect the Polar Bear brand. A key part of your role will involve strategic sales management, developingand executing plans to meet and exceed sales targets, and analyzing performance data to identify opportunities for improvement. You will manage the store's budget, meticulously controlling costs and optimizing inventory levels through effective inventory management practices to maximize profitability. Ensuring outstanding customer service isparamount; you will train and empower your team to deliver memorable experiences, resolve customer inquiries, and handle cash transactions accurately and securely. Furthermore, you will be responsible for people management, including recruiting, training, scheduling, and mentoring your team, fostering a collaborative environment built on strong communication skills and teamwork. Regular reporting on store performance, market trends, and competitor activities will also be a critical component of your responsibilities.

To succeed in this role, you should possess a proven trackrecord in retail management or a similar leadership position, demonstrating strong capabilities in store operations, sales management, and budget control. Essential skills include exceptional customer service orientation, proficiency in cash handling, and a solid understanding of inventory management and cost control strategies. We require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
