Purchase Executive – Construction / Building Materials Industry Location: Raipur, Chhattisgarh Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent | Work from Office Orange Antelopes is hiring on behalf of a valued client in the Construction and Building Materials Industry for the position of Purchase Executive. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can efficiently manage procurement activities and contribute to a smooth and cost-effective supply chain operation. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with 3–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably within the construction, infrastructure, cement, steel, building materials, or related manufacturing sectors. What You'll Be Doing As a Purchase Executive, you will be responsible for managing the complete procurement lifecycle and ensuring the timely availability of materials, equipment, and services required for business operations. Your key responsibilities will include: Processing and managing Purchase Orders with accuracy and compliance. Coordinating with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and competitive pricing. Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships for long-term business partnerships. Procuring construction materials, industrial supplies, and related resources as per project and operational requirements. Managing procurement documentation, contracts, invoices, and supplier records. Utilizing ERP systems and Tally for purchase tracking, inventory control, and reporting. Monitoring stock levels and coordinating with internal teams to avoid shortages or excess inventory. Preparing MIS reports and procurement performance dashboards for management review. Supporting cost optimization initiatives through effective negotiation and vendor management. Collaborating closely with finance, operations, stores, and project teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability. What We're Looking For 3–5 years of relevant procurement or purchase experience. Prior exposure to the Construction, Infrastructure, Building Materials, Manufacturing, Cement, Steel, or Industrial Supply sectors will be highly preferred. Strong understanding of purchasing processes, vendor management, and inventory control. Hands-on experience with ERP software and Tally. Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and documentation practices. A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership and drive results.

The core responsibilities of this role will involve the end-to-end management ofour procurement cycle. You will be responsible for meticulous Purchase Order Processing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies. A significant part of your day will be dedicated to effective Vendor Coordination, building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to secure favorable terms, timely deliveries, and high-quality materials. You will also oversee comprehensive Documentation Management for all procurement activities, maintaining organized records and ensuring compliance. Proficiency in using ERP systems and Tally is essential, as you will utilize these tools for inventory tracking, financialtransactions, and data management. Furthermore, you will actively engage in Inventory Management, monitoring stock levels, forecasting needs, and minimizing waste. Generating precise MIS Reporting will be a regular task, providing critical insights into procurement performance. While primarily a purchasingrole, your insights and efficient procurement practices will indirectly support Sales Strategy Development by ensuring the availability of necessary resources. We also expect you to demonstrate strong Leadership Skills within your scope of work and utilize exceptional Communication Skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams andexternal partners.
