Service Engineer

Pending company profile is seeking a dedicated Airtel Engineer and Wireman to join our dynamic team in Ludhiana, Punjab, India. We are seeking candidates with 1.0 to 10.0 years of relevant experience in telecommunications or a related field. Essential requirements for this role include a 12th Pass qualification and a recognizedITI Certification, demonstrating a foundational understanding of electrical and networking principles. A valid Driving License and proven proficiency in two-wheeler driving are mandatory, as the position involves extensive field work and independent travel to customer sites. The ideal candidate will possessa strong technical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to ensuring customer satisfaction, operating primarily on a day shift preference.

As an Airtel Engineer and Wireman, your day-to-day responsibilities will be diverseand critical to our operations, primarily involving comprehensive field work across various customer locations within Ludhiana. You will be instrumental in performing new Wi-Fi, Broadband, and DTH installations, meticulously setting up equipment, running cables, and configuring devicesto ensure seamless connectivity and optimal performance for our subscribers. A significant part of your role will also include efficient complaint resolution, which involves diagnosing complex technical issues, troubleshooting network problems, repairing faulty wiring, and replacing defective equipment to restore services promptly andeffectively. This requires a keen eye for detail in wiring, cabling, and configuring network devices, along with the ability to interpret technical diagrams and specifications accurately. You will also conduct routine maintenance checks on existing infrastructure, upgrade systems as needed, andprovide clear, concise technical support to customers, educating them on service usage and basic troubleshooting. Your ability to interact professionally and empathetically with customers, ensuring their satisfaction with both the service and the resolution provided, is key. Adherence to strictsafety protocols and company guidelines during all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities is paramount, alongside maintaining accurate and timely records of service calls, equipment used, and customer interactions to ensure operational efficiency and accountability.

This full-time permanent role offersa competitive annual salary ranging from INR 240,000 to INR 246,000.
